Pioneer HU and stock Steering wheel audio control

My vehicle steering wheel audio control used to be able to control the aftermarket Pioneer HU.

 

However, not sure what had happened or since when, it no longer be able to do so.

 

Anyone has any idea what is the root cause or how I can get the control back?

you using IR or cable type of interface for the steering control to your Pioneer?

 

if it is IR, try reseting the programming again.. if it is the cable type, think got to take out steering wheel and check out the module..

Sorry, but my steering control is the integrated type, not seperate and attached type.
