I wonder why the Honda CR-Z did not really take off here. It was quite good looking too. Or was the hybrid part a put off ?

660cc TURBO charged, so more than 130bhp still CAT B... hahaaa

In accordance to Japan transport regulations, max horsepower of Kei cars is limited to 47KW / 63hp / 64ps. ;)

I REALLLY Like this. Cat A COE!!!

Honda removed the electric powertrain of the EV-STER and replaced it with a 3-cylinder 660cc turbo engine rated at 64 bhp (48 kW) sent via a seven-speed CVT.

The production version will feature a fully retractable roof and will be sold exclusively in Japan.

There are some reports indicating Honda plans to sell the car in other areas of the world with a turbocharged 1.0-liter engine outputting 100 bhp (74 kW).

Oh my... FR~!

Reported prior to its unveiling as production-bound in 2015, the S660 Concept is persuaded by a tuned version of the Honda N-Box’s engine (N-Box is a kei car from Honda). A turbocharged 660cc engine producing 64 bhp @ 6,000 rpm and 104 Nm @ 2,600 rpm spins the rear wheels, and is driven through a seven-speed CVT transmission. The car is reported to have an almost perfect 50:50 front:rear weight distribution and will tip the scales at under 907 kg.

Good Review, do you happen to know what maximum size driver it can fit?

Am curious as I am 6'5".

DC is a go kart for me...can't fit into Hcity, ok in CRZ.

Thanks.

Seems like kei car is still popular.

The S660 moniker reminds me of the classic Honda S600

Specs of the Honda S600

Engine Capacity: 606 CC (straight 4)

DOHC, 2 valves per cylinder

57 PS (56 bhp) (42 kW) at 8500 rpm

Specific output 92.4 bhp/litre

maximum torque 51 Nm (38 ft·lb) (5.2 kgm) at 5500 rpm

kerb weight: 720kg

This car is built in 1964. If you had saw the video clip the engine redlines at 10,000rpm and max at 11,000rpm. LoL...

Looking at the S660 now. It has come a long way.

kei car always popular in JDM land

K cars by right should also be popular here coz of the tiny size of the island but LTA's COE/tax/fee structure screws it up? or maybe 'face' factor of local car owners also play a part?

Does the girl come with the car?

Rarely do I get distracted from a nice pair of legs by other things, this time I do, by the rims! and of course the car
