Less then 5 Min job thanks for the advice.....Went to do my servicing and get Mazda to change for me....they said $40-50..... Anyway, I have been told that my starter motor is having problem and need to change...cost me $1000..is it too high? The problem is sometimes I need to start my engine the 2nd time before it gets starter. Is there other alternatives that I can go? $1000 seem too expensive....... If your warranty is over, do your repairs outside... I had a starter motor issue on my Mazda 6 2yrs back & was prepared to spend $500 to replace it (my friend spent that amt on his 6)... Surprisingly, the workshop managed to repair the starter motor for $180... I don't suppose Mazda 5 & 6's motor will differ that much
