Everyday on the road bound to see driver either txting or on the ph. talking....sigh

Even if I am on my Bluetooth when the ph ring ....I will just answered that I am driving..will call

back later. I am sure its just a habit...a very bad habit to have a tendency to yup yup yup on the phone..

very common occurrence on the roads..it's also very easy to determine who's using mobile phone whilst driving by observing at the way these "text(phone) & drive" drivers navigate on the road..texting on the phone has been easier these few years due to smartphones' voice assistant but I guess not many people know how to utilize this feature..in addition to not using earpiece when chatting on their mobile

I read somewhere that humans can only focus on one thing at a time. Those who can multi task simply are able to switch focus faster. Example, u walk and talk on the phone, either ur walking is ur focus ir the phone onversation. If ur phone conversation is ur focus, u might board the wrong bus, trip and so on. If ur walking is ur focus, u will just yep yep aha aha on the phone and immediately forget what was said.

For drivers it is the same. To hold a meaningful conversation the assumption is tt the traffic condition is the same and does not require concentration. Otherwise it is yep yep on the phone also. If traffic condition suddenly changes and the driver does not switch focus fast enough, accident occurs.

Ever wonder why even the most talkative driver usually does not talk much when reverse parking? :)

Will only text (or see text) when the car is stationary, eg during stopping at traffic.

But, trying to keep this to the minimum, unless absolutely necessary.

Safety first...
