And I just saw a white S-Cross in Clementi on Monday. 1st one I've seen on the road.
It looked like the base 2WD version (no sunroof and no AWD badge at the back). Solio looks like a big kei car.

Just saw one Suzuki Solio today. Completely new to me. So quiet this brand.

Initially mistook Solio for Solid, haha

And the roof of this car has corrugations like a commercial van.

Corrugation may be wrong term - should be?

And looking at this pic, can understand it is designed for the adventure man, haha

Hope Alivio/Ciaz will come to Singapore. For China market, Alivio has a 1.6 litre engine coupled to a 6 speed AT while Indian (Ciaz) has a 1.4 CVT box), hope SG will bring in one to fill up the SX4 sedan gap with the Chinese spec. Reading the reviews, the rear legroom is amazing! Looking forward to see this in SG.

Tried the S-Cross in UK about 2 months ago, in Europe it comes with either a 5 speed manual or CVT transmission.

Boot space is twice of SX4 Hatch, cabin space is as spacious as the SX4.

Performance wise it is adequate for daily commute, engines is a non VVT version of the Swift Sport's M16A engine.

Anyone has seen both the S-Cross and the Vezel?

Wonder how they would compare.

It's not too far @ 99.9K [laugh] You may try to low ball the SE to 95K. [:p]

Haha, better off waiting for Coe to drop.

Suzuki cars are underrated. Have a swift and liana, both running well.

Hi guys,

I think we should stop labeled Solio as a K-car because it has 1.2 engine instead of 660cc which is the maximium engine capacity for a K-car.

The engine output is also limited to 64 hp which solio has already exceeded the limit.

If those japanese looking at the topic, they will laugh & roll on the floor until cry...

More info as follow:

Test driven the s-cross awd w pano roof. Power is good for 1.6. Roof can open to 3/4 of opening. Paddle shift is very nice to use when rpm at 4-5k range. Responsive cvt n no cvt whine. Suspension setup firm but not harsh. Top variant leather factory wrapped. Drl able to be turned off due to it being pole light function. Decent sound system, can read all my music files n language. Reasonable space. 5yr unlimited mileage warranty, 5yr / 100000km free svc.

Can b better if - touchscreen can read video files / view movies, rear seats can b more sofa like, rear aircon is avail, ride can b slight higher, plastic silver trim / bezel b made of brushed alum, twin exhaust instead of single to compliment rear air dam dsn n also showcase its power potential.

Solio looks like their Splash.

S-cross looks like their SX4.

I feel S-Cross is more sleek that the SX4 in real life

As a Golf size hatchback, quite good looking. One atas version comes with large sunroof!!

If it can handle as good as younger brother Swift, it will be attractive to buyers looking for family hatchback with more than decent handling.
