Need advice. No power when accelerate.

Hi all, need some advices from you all out there. I'm driving a 2007 Nissan Latio Premium. Recently I felt my car lost power when accelerate. When picking up that time, the car like no power. But when it reaches 60km/h, it's back to normal. At first I thought is the throttle dirty and had went to my workshop to get it washed. And i had also done my servicing. But after driving for 4 days, the problem back again.

 

Anyone had face this problem before? Would appreciate if someone could help me on this. Thanks.

Is it the CVT gearbox? You hear the engine roar but no power transmitted onto the wheels?

 

Aiya. Since it's a used car trade-in to get another used car with less problem.

Ask workshop to check the ignition cables to the sparks plugs. I used to have a ride which will lose power suddenly when I step on the throttle. And after slushing for a while, it will suddenly pick up speed. I went to workshop and the mechanic said change the ignition cables will do. It works.

 

Or, wrong octave petrol used.

OK Thks for the advice. Btw how much will it cost to change the cables?

did you just change e/o

Recently just change my four Coils for misfiring.

i once had the same problem...........top gasket harden........EO ran into spark plug chambers..........ended up not enough spark...............changed the gasket...........rev and burn off the oil...........saw white smoke coming out..............after that soon soon liao............

Wow like that quite bad. Mine still not up to this state.

same same lost of power.............check see got any sign of EO leakage or not...........you wouldn't know until you remove the spake plugs....

Loss of power is a very big scope to diagnose.

 

Unless u have very strong indicating factors to point to a certain point of failure like plug or coil..etc, better to let agent diagnose with their computer, and pay for their labour charges than try self medication and change this and that till u get it resolve, or monkey mechanic who just do guesswork also
