I think in Japan this is nothing new. They make a lot of payment using their mobile phones. But in Sgp a bit difficult unless ppl pay less or get discount using the system. DBS should work towards this. Haha...

I only know they used many coins/ca$h to pay for nearly everything. Even car park is not cashless. Need to bring along bags of coins and slot into the machine.

Regarding paylah app..

My phone number is linked to my posb savings account for paynow. If someone sends a payment via their paylah acct to my phone number, I get notified as it landed in my normal posb account. i get emailed.

Then I went to install paylah app and link to my account. Suddenly I'm not getting notified after someone send me a payment via their paylah. Then I found out it went into the paylah account. I had to manually transfer it back to my savings account. After I delete the paylah account, everything went back to normal.

I'm not sure what's the use of paylah, when everything works better with paynow.

Just leave it inside paylah and use it for payment lo.

The problem is you don't use paylah to make payment.

Currently, i have $3 in paylah.  By tomorrow, it will be ZERO again.

If transfer via paylah, will go to your paylah account. Not an issue for me unless I have thousands of dollars going in to paylah everyday.

My goggle pay will debit from paylah first, if no money, will debit from my savings account. So it's the same, at least for me.

For DBS, it is considered an additional account just like your current account for cheques.

I use paylah and applepay all the time. I no longer carry my wallet nowadays.

You can use the money inside paylah to make payment outside ma. Also you can set an amount limit to your paylah account. If the amount reached the max, anyone who paylah you, the money would go into your bank account.

And currently DBS got the $3 off when using paylah on Fri promo. Should make use of it. 😂

Thanks, I can set the Wallet Limit to smaller amount. Default was $2000. 😁
