Wahaha....Cat A & Cat B onli $2k apart.

Tink they gonna buy up all the dynometers in the world to push almost every 1.6L car into cat B juz to prove their silly 130 bhp policy works.......

Well done LTA [thumbsup]

at least prices have generally settled instead of big moves. end of day they need to balance traffic jams & car ownership..not an easy task for our island.

can see that price is sort of fluctuating with no big jump or drop dispite almost double the number of bids in each Cat. With the upcomming quota which is only marginal increase, price gonna be pretty stable for the next 3 months.

think gov shorten to 3 months annoucement so that between each period, the number of COE fluctuation is smaller.

Eh? Isnt that the ERP's job to quell traffic jams?

Our scholars has to concoct something new for the sake of concocting.

Well done what?

Cat a still too high, Cat b still too low, LTA intent to lower CatA but it doesn't work, let Cat b sky high

Think its the car bookies striking back at lta's policy by deliberately calibrating the results this way.

The flaw is Cat E, open cat.

since Cat E can be used for any vehicles but ends up mainly for cars, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that the quota for cars will go up in future.

Therefore, Cat E should be tweaked for cars above 3000cc only.
