Honda Fit Shuttle New Facelift

One dealer just sent me the photos today. Its about $102,988. Not bad. Not sure if this is time to buy or wait a few more moths...

Clarification required. So fit shuttle is the cheaper version? Confused over fit shuttle and shuttle.

Compared the Shuttle and the Fit Shuttle:

 

1 Specs wise: the Shuttle is bigger and has more power. It is only slightly smaller in length compared to the Fit Shuttle ie 4400 vs 4410mm

 

2 Shuttle doesn't have

cruise control

Remote boot release

Front fog lamps

Reverse sensors

Paddle shifters

Audio Aux/USB port

Leather seats

leather steering wheels

(according to the specs in stcars.sg)

Fit Shuttle has them

 

3. Shuttle has LED Headlights and Day time running lights (LED).
Fit Shuttle has Halogen headlights and no Day time running lights.

 

4. Looks wise- see the two photos. The Shuttle looks better, sharper than the Fit Shuttle.

 

My QUESTIONS:

A. Based on the above info, how important are the cruise control, boot release, front fog lamps, reverse sensors etc. in Singapore?

B. Are the items on the list above #2 accurate?

C. Can the items be added eg leather seats, leather steering wheels, reverse sensors etc if wanted?

D. Any opinions re the two- ie which would you pick and why?

E. Costs- anyone has updates on the different prices for each?

The so called Fit Shuttle is a 2011 model from Japan which is already removed from the production.

 

The latest one is called a Honda Shuttle by Honda Japan.

 

Both are different models.

the airwave is adapted from the 1st gen Fit/Jazz.
the fit shuttle is adapted from the 2nd gen Fit/Jazz.
the shuttle is adapted from the 3rd gen Fit/Jazz.

how to see? look at the cupholders/aircon outlets/glove box compartments.

even in 2008, KM was selling their 1st gen Jazz cheap (until SJF registration) when the PIs brought in the 2nd gen Fit (started with SJB).

so if you must own a new car latest model kind, go for Shuttle.
if you can get a good price for the Fit Shuttle, go for the Fit Shuttle. (but YOM is definitely 2014)

if you ask me, an owner of the Fit Shuttle for 7 months now, of course go for Shuttle!! new car, new model, new look.

I had checked out the new Shuttle from various PI's. Hup Long & Regal said it's under cat. A, Hua Yang & Autolink said it's under cat. B. Hmm... all of them have a show piece, I guess the model is very new until it's inspected passed and confirmed by LTA.
