What tv boxes are you guys using?

 

Used to have a minix thumb drive but recently stopped working.

I have a xiaomi box coming soon. Was reading about Amazon box and seems interesting. Will see what I can do with the xiaomi box before trying others.

 

There's a alternative that I'm using.

Raspberry Pi 2, loaded with xbmc and it works like iptv box.

With SD card, casing, and power supply, it comes to around $80.

I have read about the raspberry pi 2 but decided I should start with simpler stuff. Quite interesting what this can do.

 

My old android device, I only used it for YouTube and play movie from thumb drive because my old tv didn't have any of these features. Didn't try to stream movies online. Spoilt during my Bangkok trip after 3-4 yrs.

Impulsively bought a xiaomi android box at sitex hoping to watch epl with my boy this school holidays.

 

Couldn't get to click the bottom right option of 进入光芒体育 on the screen.

 

Also, is there any other option to watch the games with English commentary?

 

My boy missed his Man City demonisation against Southampton last night n is very the buay song about it.

 

Pointer to the enlightenment will be deeply appreciated.

xiaomi box has a lot of difficulty with Kodi due to it's lack of memory. So english commentary soccer is not so easy to watch. 

 

Guangmang tiyu, only one older version still works.

Thanks bro. I last time I go thru a 10 yr series was like 20 yrs ago. Haha.

 

I don't own a xiaomi box, so i can only tell you to read up.

The box is limited, so best to read up how to make best use of it.

 

GMTY u need to install the correct version, only that one can watch.

 

I don't really know of other free apps that are stable and provide soccer. See if there's a way to install kodi on your xiaomi (think it's difficult).

If you have a decent/good smartphone, u can run kodi from your phone as well.

Yup. Have read about kodi as a good source to watch epl games.

 

Have posted same query at HWZ board.

Which did you get for 50 bucks?

 

My gen2 has been intermittent...soccer channels are back after a month of hiatus but still losing the English movie channels, have to watch movies through cartoon channel instead.

Unless you are paying subscription every month, but even then it's dubious during something like Euro 2016.

For angmoh movie I think 123movies or something like that is good.

 

Then got animego or what for cartoons..

 

Even got the YouTube add on.. Much better to use kodi cos can navigate on the laopok remote control.. I didn't buy a airmouse

a wireless keyboard is good to search. especially in kodi if u need to type often.

Will be a good investment especially with the mxq box remote it doesn't have page up/down features.
