At least its a Saturday, and not a Sunday. Otherwise it will be just one huge Lucky Plaza :ph34r:

or worse lor, party start from sat evening, stretch all the way into sun.

 

then maybe a few months alter, u find alcohol ban on orchard road, etc

Section of orchard road closed? Then there will be traffic jam at that area during the road closure?

 

Since the road is closed and these ppl will want drive drive at that area deserves to be stuck in jam.

The pedestrians cross road like their grandfathers' road. The light turn red liao, they still stroll like leisurely ....

Why not just rename the road as 'YourGrandFather's' road!!! Everyone will have a sense of belonging / ownership!! What you own, you treasure and take good.

Might as well offer sampan rides since it floods once every 50 yrs

Since there will be plenty of water, might as well also have sgp's very own Water Festival!! No need go Bangkok to splash water on people liao, can do it right here!!!

agree, not only Staurday, Orchard Road should be everyday closed for vehicles,

because Singaporean driving style very arrogant, they never willing to give way to pedestrinns,

many countries have walking Street in their cities, Singapore why don't have?
