Car Remote

I found that it took me a few times to lock my car using the car remote. Unlocking the car seems OK.

 

I think it may be the battery inside the remote that is weak.

 

Do you know where i can replace the battery in the car remote, or even better, replace the car remote completely (as the car remote plastic is falling off) ?

 

Also, how much will it cost to replace battery or car remote?

Make of car

Is it under warranty

Original or aftermarket

 

Manufacturers remotes usually have instructions in the manual on how to change the battery... and type of batt.

 

If you wanna change you can do a search here or try Soxxi

 

Note change of remote fob housing usually cheaper than changing the whole remote, especially originals.

Those neighborhood watch shops should be able to change for u.. A few bucks. Unless yours is those embedded with your car keep, then abit more tricky.
