SINGAPORE: There will be temporary changes to the parking and pick-up arrangements at Changi Airport's Terminal 1 (T1) from 2am on Friday (Oct 17) to 2am on Tuesday (Oct 21). These arrangements are part of a dry run in preparation of the closure of the T1 open-air car park in the last quarter of 2014.


The Changi Airport Group announced the following changes on Tuesday (Oct 14) in a media release:


  • During this four-day period, the open-air car park fronting T1 will be temporarily closed and relocated to Terminal 2 (T2).
  • The T1 Arrival pick-up point will be moved to a new location outside the T1 Arrival Hall.

The following measures will be in place to assist members of the public with the changes:


  • Road signage and lane markings will be up to guide motorists to the relocated facilities. Signs will also be put up within the terminals.
  • Airport staff and traffic marshals will be deployed to assist users and motorists.
  • Videos to guide drivers to the relocated facilities will be available online.
  • A free shuttle bus service will be added to supplement the existing Skytrain service for transfers between T1 and T2. It will operate daily at regular intervals.

Lots of cars there and some cars can see them bouncing, some with towels at the windows..... :huh:

Your car got MCF stickers or not, if have, next time I will park 3 lots away ... [sly]
