I just got into an accident.

Back taxi failed to stop and ram onto me , resulting me banging onto front taxi vehicle.

So if my case now, do i need to pay for excess if i proceed to claim for insurance.

Front taxi damage quite jialat.

Any benefit if i see doc and get 3 days mc?

U no need pay excess. Just go authorised workshop/idac make a accident report and go to ur own preferred workshop to make the repairs.

If u are feeling unwell, then see a doc. More than 3 days MC, u will need to make a police report.

do you have any witness or video as proof that the back taxi ram onto you....

What if the back taxi claims that you rammed onto the front taxi first and brake abruptly causing him (back taxi) to ram onto your car.

Front and back taxis? You better be careful. Jialat. They will come out with lots of stunts. Protect yourself first. Hope you have video to support.

If you have video that would be the best. If not, for this case normally front taxi will claim your insurance and you claim from the rear taxi insurance... Clear cut.

If you not feeling well due to the accident, make a report and claim from the rear taxi insurance.

Hope you get well soon and drive safe..

Your accident is just like what I was involved several years ago. My car was also the middle one. Infront was a taxi and behind was a private car. The outcome was that the back car paid for everything. The report was that I managed to stop my car in time but the back one knock and pushed mine forward and knocked onto the taxi. There was no injury. So, just report to your insurance authorised workshop and they will help you make the report accordingly. Hopefully, you have video/photo, esp the position of your car and the back taxi. Your workshop will advise you whether need to report to idac. If you are injured make known to ur workshop and seek medical attention. According to my workshop, as long as my liability is not more than 20%, my NCD will not be affected. Hope ur injury not serious and get well soon.

so I presume you guys exchanged particulars after that. since you already reported, just sit back and relax.

will your company ask you to pay for the damages?

its between you and your company liao. I suggest you be honest with your coy and let them know you met an accident with their lorry rather than they find out themselves.

I do have video but its front camera. But it didnt capture the rear part. Is it still useful.

If you got photos of the back car and it's number plate behind yours, will be great. The reason, I said this was because his insurance ppl call me and said his car was not at the scene. Trying to wriggle out. I said, I got photos to prove that his vehicle was behind me and his number plate and my side skirt were damaged. The best joke, he told me the front taxi driver didn't see his client's car knocked on mine. Wish you good lucks

Hope this info is also useful to other forummer.
