If you are interested, there are a review on this new model in ST Life's motoring today, not bad considering BMW first FWD and the specs given are better than B-class but of course at a higher price too! ^_^

Tks for the heads up! I'm interested in this car but price abit too ex so likely will wait for the initial enthusiasm to die down and hopefully they can price it well and maybe COE softens abit, hope for the best!!

Test drove it.. pricing about $160k. The seats are different from the usual BMW seats... driving experience was so so...

Frankly, the $160k is for paying the premium branding and being newly launch, just like CnC packaged the new C-class package this way! Once the novelty died down, the price will correspondingly reduce.... it is the time factor if you still really want it and how long you are willing to wait for it...... <_<

too over-priced..........

totally give up 2-series.

166.8k to exact for business comparable to B180 sports @168.8k

Omv for both cars are around there @28k+-

Overpriced ? All cars in sg are overpriced la !!!

Consider its a new model price still alright ba... B class is a almost 3 year old model liao

ya la......... looks like Performance have no plan to promote their new 2 series or maybe wait for B class 2015 new facelift.

New facelift B class is here, $159,888, motor show discount $3000, $3000 service credit.

Not sure if features got bump up.

Pls share if BMW is offering similar discounts.

Dilemma on the 2 choices, while waiting on COE price direction.

how about over trade ?

 

No sure the any improvement about "soundproofing" of B class but my friends said 2-series is good!

 

It is better to test drive to compare..................

I like the high seating arrangements cos I fetch my parents and in-laws quite frequently so easier for them to get in and also thought it would be nice to finally own a luxury brand. That said, I'm cost conscious esp in this high COE climate so I won't discount Jap cars after all I've owned various Jap cars for many years now. You have some recommendations? Feel free to give feedback, cheers😀

 

PS. BMW 2 looks better than the slightly dated B Class but I've not seen the facelift model yet but shouldn't be much diff.

Harrier is from PI and its 2.4l at least right? I prefer lower cc car but I'm aware it may be underpowered though. Guess u can't have your cake n eat it but Contis these days are more into lower cc, turbos so shld be sufficient.
