TameDriver Twincharged November 12, 2014 Share November 12, 2014 Another time, in Singapore: A man was ahead of me as I was walking towards my car. Suddenly, he stopped next to driver's door and tried to yank it open. I was already standing in front of the bonnet, told him that's my car. He gave me dirty look and continued pulling at door handle, each time with more force. I had no choice but to yell at him to stop or he'll have to pay for damages. Then he realized that I was serious and it suddenly dawned upon him that he parked 2 lots away, concealed by a big van. No apology, gave me more dirty look and walked away. By then I found it funny and laughed out loud. He rushed into his car and drove off hurriedly. :()
Super7 Turbocharged November 12, 2014 Author Share November 12, 2014 Why the car opposite or infront of me didn't signal his intention when making a turn? Isn't it strange when probably 50% or more of the vehicles on the road light bulbs blew? Isn't it strange when TP and LTA didn't enforce the rule? Isn't it strange then why bother to pass high way code and go for annual inspection? Quite strange also when elite driver killed someone on the road all she got was a light hit one the wrist
Super7 Turbocharged November 12, 2014 Author Share November 12, 2014 Hit a bird, I think, while doing 120km/h at MY east coast road 3. Sorry, I don't think it can survive. It left a oily patch on the windscreen. On another occasion, when reach near Thai border, found radiator and windscreen full of dead insects. It was a nasty job cleaning them off. Maybe should have invited some birds to pick and feast on these dead insects

Do you realise how much of an ask it is for him (or any human) to apologise in such a situation? First he has to admit his mistake, accept the embarrassment and potential ridicule from someone who is shouting at him, he will then be forced to re-evaluate his current status in the world... and over-riding all this he has to decide if there is any relationship [with you] to be salvaged. He decided he could simply face it off and forget about it. You're blessed and lucky if your family and friends ever apologise to you, let alone complete strangers! (And I'm one who firmly believes a well timed apology is a social skill that could well save your job, marriage or even your life.)
Count-Bracula Twincharged March 6, 2019 Share March 6, 2019 Yesterday I was walking down Cecil Street towards the Golden Shoe transit hawker centre for lunch. Along the way, I stopped outside RHB Bank and there was this Corolla Altis by my side. I could not help but took a closer look as I have just booked one recently. Ehh . . the petrol cover was left ajar. I got the driver's attention and I stepped up to push it shut. He waved thanks at me and I waved back . . . . strange thing I did.
Bluebull 2nd Gear March 6, 2019 Share March 6, 2019 Happened to my previous car. Parked in open air carpark in Pek Kio. I was walking towards my car (some 100m away) when I saw an old uncle with white hair walking towards the back of my car. So I observed him. He reached my car boot, looked around then placed something on top of my car and started what looked like button pushing. More looking around by him. When I was nearer I remotely triggered the car lock, to blink the side blinkers. He panicked, looked around then reutrn to whatever he was doing with whatever he had on my boot. When I was barely 10m away, I shouted "Hullo Uncle, what are you doing?!?" He looked up and gave me dirty look. I asked again. I maintained his dirty look. I saw he had a mobile phone and another device on my boot. I took out remote to unlock my car then he realised it was my car, quickly grab his two items and scrambled off. Till now I didnt know what he was doing. That happened about 3 years ago.
Aventa 3rd Gear March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 Saw white smoke from my left mirror, the smoke seems to be coming from my left exhaust only and hovered there for a while. But on the right mirror and rear mirror I see nothing. I sensed something spooky. It was about 430am, I was the last and alone in the open carpark after my friends all drove off. Near E-hub. SiLangKia Supersonic March 7, 2019 Share March 7, 2019 Was driving along one day and as I accelerated to go onto the up ramp to BKE highway (5ish mins after leaving home in the morning) suddenly heard meowing, turned off my stereo to observe. Heard the car meowing again and it was getting less muffled and slightly clearer. Got abit scared cos like since when VTEC sounded like that Pulled over to the road shoulder to check cos smth was definitely way off. As soon as I popped the hood, a little kitten jumped straight out at me and dashed into the bushes along the highway Strange siaaaa

Pocus Turbocharged March 8, 2019 Share March 8, 2019 (edited) Many years ago I was at the waiting area of my then-GF's office as she is preparing to leaving office. Suddenly the door opened and came in, a young girl with short hair, pink blouse and skirt so short I can see the spores of her legs. Without a second look at me, she started complaining about someone I presumed is her co-worker or boss who is a "real bitch" and only knows how to "bootlicked the director" while scroll through her phone of what looks like emails. I was quite calmly and called she out "Miss, wrong car". Then she looked up and looked at me, all startled. We stunted for like a sec then she quickly opened the door and ran out. She didn't even close my door. I see her ran towards the another car. (a silver Lancer GLX, mine was a silver Vios) and the car drove off. WTF it's not even the same model, how blur can she be? Some takeaways - She is sweet looking (yes, quite chio) - She smells great too. Some lotion I presumed. - No apologies, no sorry when she left. - Luckily my then-GF is not here yet. - Luckily the smell didn't linger, my GF didn't say anything.
