Sosaria Turbocharged November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 (edited) Normally this kind of pose done by overseas police forces - will have bags of drugs on the table, heaps of cash, pistols, rifles, rocket launchers, and overflowing with ammo. Over here, spray paint cans are deadly! ... I love our peaceful environment! Maybe the photo is a veiled warning to other would-be vandals. Ender Hypersonic November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 but...I wonder why this photo... They want to showcase to the journalist the 'dangerous' weapons they recovered from the arrest. These weapons can cause mass destructions vandalisms.

Jman888 Moderator November 21, 2014 Share November 21, 2014 can trace them to Thailand and Malaysia! Two arrested for vandalism at SMRT Bishan depot PUBLISHED ON NOV 21, 2014 BY AMIR HUSSAIN SINGAPORE - Two men have been arrested for their suspected involvement in vandalising an SMRT train at Bishan Depot on Nov 8. The men, both German nationals aged 21, were extradited from Malaysia earlier on Friday morning. They were arrested at Kuala Lumpur International Airport based on a warrant of arrest issued by the State Courts here, as they were about to depart for Australia, said the police's Criminal Investigation Department Director Tan Chye Hee. The men will be charged in court on Saturday morning for vandalism and trespassing into a protected place, said Mr Tan, who was speaking to the media at a press conference. Based on preliminary investigations, the two men are believed by police to have left Singapore for an unspecified destination on Nov 8 shortly after having vandalised the train. Thereafter, they were located in Bangkok by the Royal Thai Police and later in Kuala Lumpur by the Royal Malaysia police. The men are believed to be working in Australia. Senior Assistant Commissioner Tan said: "The suspects had displayed a blatant disregard of the law in Singapore. Police do not tolerate such brazen criminal acts and we will spare no effort to hunt down those who commit these crimes, be they locals of foreigners, and bring them to justice." If convicted of vandalism, the men face up to three years in jail or a fine of up to $2,000, and between three and eight strokes of the cane. If convicted of trespassing into a protected area, they face up to two years in jail or a fine of up to $1,000 or both.

Quoting the article: "The men will be charged in court on Saturday morning for vandalism and trespassing into a protected place, said Mr Tan, who was speaking to the media at a press conference." I thought at first they suspected an inside job, because the depots are already fully secured after the first incident?? How come such secure facility can be trespassed into and the train vandalised again??? ↡ Advertisement
