Where to repair tyre-patch from Inside? (Ang Mo Kio area)

Just had a small puncture, must be a small hole somewhere in rear tyre but as night is falling, cant see the actual damage but should be due to some nail.

Need to crawl to nearest shop for repair first thing tomorrow. Instead of the sometimes unreliable "insert a plug" type of repair at most petrol kiosk, can anyone recommend any tyre shop in Ang Mo Kio vicinity that can remove the tyre and patch up the hole from inside? Presumably I can find one around Sin Ming area.

Many many thx in advance.

Ever did the internal patch of my last set of tyre on Sep 2013, where it help to sealed the puncture hole caused by a big screw with tread. Before that, I have done twice to patch the hole with normal rubber insert but failed.

Normal rubber insert probably good to repair small puncture caused by small nail and is much cheaper at $6.

Not a lot of shop doing internal patch. The one that I visited is in the east area as follow & cost $16 per patch with labor.

TAT SENG BATTERY SERVICE

Address: 322 Bedok Rd, Singapore 469490

Hope it helps.

Thx guys but I cannot make it to the East side. Had to be hearby in Sing Ming Bishan or Ang Mo Kio area, as otherwise the rear tyre which is a 19inch will be damaged by the time I reach the shop.

Anyone knows of any? Thx

bro, how much did it cost? was the mechanic careful when he removed the tyre from the rim?

$25. more work than I thought including some grinding to smoothen inner surface before patching, and application of some sealant post patching up.

Handling of tyre/rim is ok to me. anyway rim is about 6 yeras old so heck it anyway.

can you elaborate CAREFUL ?

I suppose a Good mechanic and Quality workshop will always do a better job on this particular issue with proper prevention measure.

But if does happen that the Mech had done what they can still scratch your wheel ?

And what do you expect from them?

careful as in the mechanic exercises great care in not getting the rim scratched when he removes the tyre for repair. i am aware this is not 100% possible as he needs to make use of a machine to remove the tyre from the rim. at least if he tries, i can still accept the minor scratches. the way some mechanics work, you know they can't be bothered.

thanks, bro! same price as South East but this workshop is definitely nearer for me.

Simpang Bedok, first tyre shop on the right upon entrance.. Their patching can easily last until botak. Unless the hole is too big like mine last year, went over a brick along expressway. Can patch, but still burst after nearly a year.
