$1.5 k is much higher for changing absorber and engine mounting. I am also recommending you to get few more quotations from other shops. I am sure you will get this service for a lesser cost than 1.5 k. I don’t have any experience with changing absorber and engine mounts. But I could say that honda parts aren’t expensive. I have a honda civic coupe which I bought as a second buyer. The majority of the checkups and services for my car are done by Apex specialized automotive Inc in Edmonton. They are specialized service center for Honda and Mitsubishi vehicles.

Hi TS, try calling Eng Hup Auto - you google it can get number.

I done my toyota engine mounts there with labour only about $400.

They sell parts and the workshop is a few steps away only. Very reasonable IMO.

Hi I am also recently facing this problem with my stream. When you turn the wheels and going some humps at low speed, you hear some funny low hatching noise. I have checked and the mechanic told me it was due to the mounting at the absorber side. What also parcels me is that my absorber are new ones and the mechanic should have requested to change at that time. Hope it helps you to uncover the mystery.

Any recommendations for Honda Jazz workshop for long term regular servicing ?

Doesn't matter where in singapore as long it is reliable ,honest and reasonable pricing

Is Dynamics Mechanic good?

What about Pitstop Tyres? Apparently they do car servicing too...

Try Sin Hwee Motor at Ubi. The boss is Ah Khim and he gets his hands dirty. My Civic was serviced by him and extremely trustworthy. What I like most is he manages your expectations, something a lot of workshops fail terribly at.

Hi, I'm driving a 2008 Stream. During my last servicing at Kah Motor, was told to change my suspension. It's very exp to change it with them. Anyone has recommendation for reliable workshop to do that, preferably in the Alexandra area. Thanks!

My car is the same year, model as well. for servicing and maintenance I would not go to Agt. You can call MING Gwee company 62983888 for spare Parts and Mechanic Ah Seng 67605407. He fix most of my car parts . Reasonable Price. :)

Thanks Clive and Forte3737 for the contacts..

Sorry, cos i've always serviced my car at KM.... so, does it mean that I have to contact the mechanic first, let him do a check, then go to Ming Ghee to purchase the parts and bring back to the Mechanic to fix?

Is there a workshop that I can just go directly to and they can do everything?

Hi Bro and Sis,

I've checked out a 07 honda stream PI model. Mileage at only 130k (dk whether it's real or not). Everything seemed ok while test-driving but gear was stuck at R while shifting from D to P. It seemed like there's an obstruction and I had difficulty pushing it up to P gear. Anyone know what's the issue down here?

Also, is there anything I should take note of for Honda stream? Especially the gearbox, I'm worried for any cars that might have common gearbox problem :(

Seeking your kind advice please :)

Cheers

Am looking to get a 2007 Honda Stream due to family needs, need some advice from bros here:

1) Whats the difference between normal and RSZ version?

2) is it normal auto or CVT? I read some have gearbox problems?

3) How to differentiate PI or KM version? I read KM has isofix installed?

4) What are the stock tyres profile? See if can transfer from my civic

5) Any mechanical issues to look out for? I read the absorbers may be worn?

6) Is it safe to drive this car to Malaysia? Will it be a car thief magnet?

Thanks in advance!

There are 2 fans, I assumed the one you refering to is the air con fan, it will only spin when you On the air con.
