Head transplant in 2 years time

The nerves (central nervous system) is the most challenging. Up to today, nobody can reverse stroke and just how do they ensure transacted nerves (e.g.spinal cord ) can survive?

More like publicity stunt.

While the success of the transplant is questionable, the advancing of this medical aspect is even more worrying, in terms of ethics and moral.

The rich may use this to make them almost immortal. While a life is made to end naturally, we are creating monsters of eternal life. Illegal heads smuggling will emerge on top of organs smuggling and innocent people may be killed if there are not enough heads or the rich and crazy may be in the quest of nitpicking for a perfect head.

With such a medical advancement, the future sounds rather scary.

Breakthrough? No thanks.

Dont think they can reverse the ageing of the brain.....new body old brain......dont think they can make it unless they can reverse the brain cells ageing and rejuvenate it. I may be wrong though.....unless they can prove otherwise.

based on sci-fi movie ... get a young and energetic body with zero illness

"transfer" the memory over to the new body .. everything is new except the memory from the old person

this sounds more possible because there is no simi face transplant, no major operation to move organ parts, etc

the "mystery" is how to transfer the memory locked in 1 person brain to another

The only legitimate head transplant for man now is the LEGO man. Head can "transplant" from one body to another, even on a LEGO woman body.
