Hi All,

I intend to sell my car as a direct seller. Therefore, would like to know the procedure, forms to fill, etc. How will I get paid when I have a confirmed buyer?

And is there any other things that I should take note?

Thanks to all in advance.

1) get deposit... $500-$1k should suffice

2) ask him purchase cashier order for balance amount

3) go LTA do transfer, before do transfer ask to witness the CO in your name.... transfer done, ask him pass you the CO

above on basis, both sides has no loan

If you got outstanding loan and buyer need loan.

1) get deposit

2) Check your own full settlement and ask how fast can the bank release the car to you upon full payment.

3) Check whether you have any outstanding fines.

4) Get the buyer to apply loan and once loan approved, get the buyer to arrange as:-

X amount goes to your bank, X amount goes to you (if any) after deducting the deposit).

or

Full amount goes to you and you pay the bank and release the car to him.

Some banks are pain the ass which takes forever to release the car to you so buyer might not be happy about it.

If all else failed, get a dealer and pay him $300~500 for the transaction.
