Chlorox 1st Gear April 30, 2015 Share April 30, 2015 Noted that some schools like Catholic High for example do not have long pants for upper levels. Is there any reason for this as it seems they are the odd ones out. ↡ Advertisement

Volvobrick Supersonic April 30, 2015 Share April 30, 2015 It's practical and cooling, easy to wash and show the muscular calves....I wore shorts back then too. Why wear long pants when they will revert to shorts once they get to U anyway?

LoverofCar 6th Gear May 1, 2015 Share May 1, 2015 Catholic high is wearing Bermudas. So not really shorts. In such a hot and humid country, I will say it is really good move. I remember how I hate it when I was in secondary school and wished that I never need to change out of my PE shorts after PE lesson....Btw. ..even our policeman are wearing bermudas now.. Frankly they look ridiculous. Always felt so, will always feel so. I know many of them once reach JC, even before the O level results are out already, those boys from these schools are usually the first to buy the JC uniform. Some guys have very hairy legs, so it makes them look comical.

Saycheese78 Clutched May 1, 2015 Share May 1, 2015 Most of us had no issues with our shorts. During Sec 4, some junior started a petition to change to long pants. Majority of us graduating batch during that time was like, WTF 1) How to kick ball, throw ball into basket in long pants 2) 1 year left need to buy uniform Came to JC first 3 months, was laughing in our heart when most guys need to go change to play ball.
