Sister bought a 2nd hand car and I was pretty impressed with the noise/grip.

Thinking to get it for my own car. Any ideas which shops have them? Thanks.

correct me if I am wrong

Silverstone brand should no longer new production ( you may still find some in the market)

This Company had acquired by Japan tire company name TOYO

soon you will find this Toyo tire made in Malaysia [thumbsup]

Toyo Malaysia tyres already in the market. Some sizes of T1R are made in Malaysia no longer Japan

DOES it matter of where the tyre produced?

I supposed a reputable Company will have a stringent QC , 1 tyre 1 quailty

except for product that designed for diff market which I am more concern

YES it does matter to me. Personal preferences, I have more confidence in the Japanese than the Malaysians

reason for saying this is i saw my friend's F1 symmetrical side wall peel like dont know what ...scary sia. [sweatdrop]

did heard about the GY sidewall crack issue

also heard the GY product had different price base on the country produced.(meaning 1 tyre of the same same/pattern)

but they market the tyre by the country produced (indirectly meaning the Quality is not uniform or same)

In modern century Good tyre maker had produced base on the market needs or requirement example like Customer road condition, weather , etc.

Should any 1 have any quality issue should feed back to Tyre Maker through the shop who sold you the tyre for their investigation.

with the FB and investigation will help them improve the product and we will benefit for it in the long run.

To me personally don't quite bother of Origin on Auto part .

Some always claimed that EU or particularly German the best ( not truth)

Look at the Car OPEL also from German, but they don't built car to standard like Merc or BM
