Dinkydong 3rd Gear May 11, 2015 Share May 11, 2015 The purpose of using adjustable cam gears is to alter the cam timings for optimum performance. Unless u have installed aftermarket cams and other mods, u will not achieve an overall improvement by altering the timing for stock cams. Certainly u can make adjustments to improve torque at a desired range of rpm but it will be at the expense of performance elsewhere (robbing Peter to pay Paul).
