I certainly hope that the schools here are not teaching the kids that when you raised your hand, you have all the rights in the whole wide world to anyhow cross the roads...

They do teach to follow traffic rules and watch out, raise hand while crossing, but not like this case dashing diagonally [sweatdrop][sweatdrop]

Wonder if he cycles like this too...

The wowo driver must be wondering "SMLJ" when trying to decipher the body language of the boy before he went full retard.

The civic driver "wa lau! See geena! Mai hai wa see!!!"

what was the boy doing that for???

to catch a bus??

No lah.

He wanted to catch the attention of the girl he has a crush on on the other side of the road.

Noticed that kids nowdays always thought they have the right of way when crossing the road when they raised their hand!

This kinda of things hard to control, you can teach the kids all the right stuff. but when it comes to execution, some like to act gungho or just bochap.

sad to say sometimes only way to learn is not the ideal one. 害人害己

that is why when I spot a child is in the vicinity I tend to be very wary. Never know what they will do...

These are the mofos that get you into trouble. Driver should be aware but there are f*cking blind spots too! And you will still knock them down and hurt them if you go slower.

This reminded me of that young girl who dashed across the road and was knocked down by a taxi coupla years ago. Real mofo

My goodness, the little boy think its a joke running diagonally across like that? What is he thinking?

So in this case, if the car knocks the boy down, then whose fault is it? I mean if he meant to commit suicide, no one can stop him.. But why implicate the driver?
