I think it is not selling that well. Brochure stated 50units only for the 88k but now still available. When Wish was selling at 99.8k for 50 unit, the quota was hit within 2 days and the price quickly went up to 102k.

i think many potential buyers still get PI JDM version.

if you ask me to get the Sienta, I will buy the Indo version. that rear aircond with 4 outlets is important for our tropical climate.

and I sat in one when in holiday in Bali...

to each his own. one can always choose to buy the PI JDM version. in any case so far i have not heard any major complaints from the BM Sienta owners, other than those common to both Indo and JDM versions.

I would go for indomee sienta simply becoz it’s not PI. And the quintessential rear a/c of course

actually my JDM Sienta ac is still cold enough for 3rd row. i was originally considering to install aftermarket ac blower at 2nd row but seems like no need.

I like Indo version for higher ground clearance, ad warranty, factory alloys, flushed factory fitted hu, 3rd / knee airbag, blower, tiptronic, door tweete, exterior color not offered by jdm.

I like jdm mij perceived better quality, newer version engine, stylish transmission selector n AC control panel, footrest bump, exterior color not offered by ad.

Depending on what u like n feel of importance, ur choice may differ.

How does the JDM Std differ from the Indon Std (other than engine & 2nd row aircon)?

How does the JDM Std differ from the Indon Std (other than engine & 2nd row aircon)?

refresher post on a previously compiled list:

simplified summary of general differences between PI and AD Sienta.

Sienta PI

- JDM

- gear shaft on the dashboard panel

- foot brake

- generally cheaper if compare apple to apple, but PI uncertainty

- newer engine (2NR-FKE - 1st released in 2015, updated design for better efficiency and fuel consumption)

- strong middle aircon blower, which can reach 3rd row (when properly adjusted)

Sienta BM

- made in Indonesia

- weaker middle blower. rear aircon taps cold pipe from main aircon.

- gear shaft on the car floor

- handbrake

- generally more pricey if compare apple to apple, but AD reliability

- older engine (2NR-FE - 1st released in 2010)

* list is not exhaustive

* differences in the exterior and interior looks depends on the chosen grade and optional factory options: JDM (X, G) vs BM (Standard, Elegance)

will try to do up a comparison list for specifically for JDM X model vs BM Standard.
