I just want to share an experience of our firm with the recent team building we had in an open area. The weather was not that good that time but we still had a very successful one. The reason why? It is because we trusted a developer that could help us achieve the best learning exercises in a very enjoyable and effective way.We had exciting activities & games. It's even a great adventure for all of us to work as a group. How about you? At some point, you've probably been involved in a team building similar to what we had. What is more beneficial from the team building activity is time off from work and the time to actually interact with colleagues, subordinates and superiors in a non work environment. To me ...it lets me see the true colours of a management that "orders" a team building exercise be held in the first place. Myxilplix Turbocharged July 24, 2015 Share July 24, 2015 We don't do team building, but usually organise company lunches/dinners for the usual holidays (Christmas lunch, CNY lo hei lunch, buka puasa dinner during Ramadan or just random makan sessions). We have flown the staff to Bali (weekend trip after some of us attended a conference there earlier in the week) and KL (corporate get-together for the various staff in the region and training sessions), but to be honest i'll only attend the organised events/meals and after that bugger off on my own.
