joining ultimate warrior... andre the giant.. mr perfect in the WWE of another world... RIP Rowdy.. [:(]:TT_TT:

2 months ago Dusty Rhodes passed away. Now Piper. :TT_TT: :TT_TT:

Reports said he died in his sleep. The cancer he had in 2006 was cured and he was cancer-free since last year. He left quite sudden and only 61.

Oh? Did not know about Dusty Rhodes. Wrestling takes a heavy toll on the body it seems.

I suspect some of them might have been on steroids to bulk up. Many die young......like Ultimate Warrior.

steroids, painkillers, lack of sleep, sleeping pills, party lifestyle, stress of living on the road 300 days/year, and the mental pressure of a glorified but low paying career which could end anytime..

Condolences to his loved ones and family members.

Loved his shows and his "feuds" with some of the wrestlers.

To be honest not one of my favs, but I grew up watching his generation of wrestlers dish it out in the ring (which the commentator always use to say is "cut in half" when tag teams try to keep the opponent from tagging his partner).

Also saw documentaries about Jake the Snake and Razor Ramone in very bad shape. Really life in the fast lane and it is very easy to go off track.

Maybe it's the 'additives' they use to define body shape etc .

Just read all the similar but better posts above suggesting same.
