It will almost definitely only be available through AD... does look promising but the chassis is still obviously Hilux.

In  my opinion, a bit pricey for toyota (thai made), unless it comes packed with luxury high spec features.

 

eg

LED signal lights (or best sequential like new lexus/audi)

auto/power tailgate

memory seat (or at least electric seat)

twin moonroof/panaromic roof (or at least normal sunroof)

radar cruise control with pre crash system

dynamic reverse camera

all round top down 360 view camera

electric side window blinds for rear passengers (middle and 3rd row)

blind spot monitor/assist with or without rear traffic alert

head up display

 

Is the engine outdated? perhaps the familiar 2.5 L will be more economical (use in alphard/vellfire/camry)

Been to vivo road show. Fortuner really has been much more upmarket exterior n interior. Hoerver, still can find cheapo issue - tweeter bezel a bit loose can turn n shake a lil, last row seat still require manual lift up n hook up (at least have damper assist or better still, electric motor w button / switch to match electric tailgate), leather one look can tell local fitted / standard (at least camry obe looked much like factory fitted, or isit).

 

Really option n interior fit n finish pales in comparison to conti n korean makes. It's as if toyota is sending a very arrogant msg to potential customers - want reliability dont ask for too much.
