Icebird Clutched August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 Is the space between the first and second row seats of SUVs fairly standard? I am looking for one that has a good legroom for the second row. Any car to recommend? SUVs only. ↡ Advertisement

Lower road tax as is 1.2cc.
Rayoflight 5th Gear August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 (edited) Qashqai is more like a CUV? SUV will be like - Harrier, Q5, CRV etc From price point and performance, alot of forummers have bought the Subaru Forestor X/XT.. XT - less than $130k Performance - needless to say, it's a Subaru Turbo-charged. Edited August 20, 2015 by Rayoflight
Soya Supersonic August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 Thot the qn should be how much does TS wanna spend? The Mercedes GL550 is quite spacious in the second row.

Columbian78 6th Gear August 20, 2015 Share August 20, 2015 Crv second row leg room is best in class. Was one of my shortlist. Floor is flat as well.

Watwheels Supersonic August 21, 2015 Share August 21, 2015 It depends on who is sitting in the 2nd row of seats. Ppl with elephant legs or bamboo stick legs? LoL... I simply luv how ppl can start a thread with so general info. "Good legroom" I wonder which SUV doesn't fit that description? At least state how tall your passengers are. What you want to avoid are SUVs with low sloping roofs like some bmw X models. Dan there are some with very narrow door opening that makes going in & out of the vehicle difficult. A lot of things to look out for. Go to youtube watch carbuyer SUV reviews. https://www.youtube.com/user/carbuyer?gl=SG&hl=en-GB

7hm Turbocharged August 21, 2015 Share August 21, 2015 If rear legroom is a thing for you then you want a Honda... But really, almost any SUV today has more legroom than the average sedan, so just about all the suggestions bandied here already are sound.

So elehant or bamboo legs, so long as its long, it will be uncomfortable.

slowloris25 2nd Gear August 21, 2015 Share August 21, 2015 i think most of the SUVs have good leg room behind. There is also another consideration - the position of the driver/front passanger seats. For me, I like to push back my driver seat almost to the max. luckily behind me is my baby seat. :)
Lala81 Hypersonic August 21, 2015 Share August 21, 2015 Why do people say there's good legroom in back of SUVs? It's just that the sitting position is very erect like in an airline seat. I've never ever felt comfortable in most SUVs (though I haven't sat in the most modern ones). I've sat in Rav4 or Forester. CRV was the only one that past the test. Sitting in a equivalent sedan is always more comfortable to me.
