I'm order sparking metal, but it shown "silver' when I log into one motoring. Is this normal? Or my SE did a mistake?

Then those who booked silver call what? Mine previously booked was silver and also shown as SILVER as primary color in the log card. Better check with ur SE

Mine too. I checked with my SE, he said LTA decided this. But he confirmed that KMC will still give me Sparkling Metal.

He said probably Sparkling Metal is considered as one of Silver colour.

 

My thought is, LTA's registration drop-down menu is limited to Silver and don't have exact 'Sparkling Metal'.

So LTA might just put Silver.

 

Should not be a big problem to us. Maybe can double confirm with past Elantra Sparkling Metal owner?

On a side note, I'm glad I took silver. Only I know the car is dirty, from a few metres away still looks pretty good. Hopefully the paint/wax holds up well.

For me it more grey than silver leh, but as long as I get sparkling metal, then lta wanna name it as black also ok

Agree. More towards grey. The liability of car registration is not with buyer, right? if wrong also LTA ppl wrong, or KMC wrong coz never check. The registration process never let buyer check the details and nvr let buyer feedback officially the mistakes.

Car colour is unimportant lar... you can always re-spray the car at a later date... then the colour recorded at registration also not the same anymore what...

I thought it is against the law if we never update or inform LTA our car colour when we changed it (if spray it someday)?

 

Just hope LTA won't suspect we changed from Silver to Grey (sparkling metal) without informing LTA or seek approval.

Maybe I worry too much. haha...
