Downshift and engine brake when going down slope

recently noticed that when down slope and pressing brake (doesn't matter stop or not) the engine will downshift and perform engine brake?  normal?

it does happen. the ecu is controlling

should b normal though i dont think there is much effect as compared to when i did it by downshifting myself using +/- mode.

 

Unless u first time encountering it, mayb is software program.

I think it's normal ba, probably your engine mounting going to kaput thats why it's more obvious to you now.

I look at the rev counter, especially, downhill, at MCE towards Rochor exit, sometimes reving to 4K
