China Premier come visit Singapore is a very big face for our country.  After all China is a super power to be , and Singapore is only a small dot.  This shows that we are valued by China as a friend and a partner.  When was the last time a US president visit Singapore who is suppose to be our closest allies ?

We should be proud of Xi Jingpin's coming visit.  Majullah Singapura !  Huan ying Huan Ying ! :)

if we compare the amount of SG trade with China vs that of UK's, you can understand why Westminister and their English royalties layout the red carpet to Xi visit last week:

UK/PRC trade = US$63b  (2012)

SG/PRC trade = US$91b  (2013)

let him enjoy the haze while it last  [laugh]  [laugh]

I am sure the joke which LHL cracked during his US visit couple years ago about Beijing residents getting "free smoke" by opening their windows will return to haunt him, considering how much "Thank you" we "owe" the Indonesian this year...

You don't know them.

For every $1 you earn, you have to make sure then earn at least $3. Big numbers here not necessarily a good thing.
