Changi Airport Terminal 3 Long Bar Singapore Sling

Flew out of Changi T3 recently and was pleasantly surprised to find a new Long Bar by Raffles at the newly renovated double storey DFS store.  Guess what?  They had free drinks in taster portions!  Pretty impressive and a great way to start a flight.

 

This airport is really WOW!

yeah, Star Wars is cool.  Here is the full sized X-wing at Terminal 3.  However, the exhibition lasts only till early Jan 2016.

Its been there for the past 3 months leow.         

 

 

For those who don't know, T3 Departure Hall after passing through Immigration checking, go to level 2. Free tasting of 'wine'. You can drink all you can but remember not so drunk until you miss your flight time cos the plane will not wait for you.

I don't understand all this upgrading and stuff at Changi.

Especially the new mall at T1.

 

Is it meant to attract Singaporeans out to the airport to shop???

 

I can't think that travellers want to leave the main T1 building to go over to a new mall to shop and maybe miss a flight.

 

This new Raffles bar.

Shirley BC and FC passengers will go straight to their lounges.

 

Are EC passengers really gonna spend on expensive drinks etc when they are just about to fly out??

 

Obviously studies have been done but I can't see the logic in it.

Except maybe to be able to advertize all this stuff to show they are competing with Middle East airports.

But why.

Will people fly to Singapore because it has airport attractions.

More complaints/feedback will eventually lead to better customer service....
