What ant polestar tuned t5 engine?

Will it be detrimental to the engine in long run?

Will it also worsen fc even though they claim is same?

read that for Rica...need to send them our ECU?

Im not comfy with flash as I think is irreversible and detectable by vovo.

Called them

not at the moment.

yah. understand your point.\

Read about Marcus case too

too bad PoleStar doesn't tune for D2.

I think people who go for D2 value fuel efficiency over performance, so probably no market for polestar to tune. those that want performance would've gone for D4 and above...

I've got a racechip on my VW 1.4TSI, what i can comment is that low end torque is better, but at the expense of fuel consumption. estimate about 10% poorer for short trips below 10 mins driving.

but for longer journeys e.g. my morning commute, the numbers look fine.

this is for about 25km of driving this morning, total travel time about 20 minutes.

All tuning will put some additional stress on all the key parts,   So is really up to the owners.....

So effectively to increase power on a Volvo one needs to swap out the turbo (does this include the exhaust manifold too?)

Just wanna be sure I am on the same page as ya.

spot on!

so . . .  HW 'enhancement' have always been very reliable in raising the bar - for volvo

of coz, selections on the HW gotta be compatible . . .

touching on the effectiveness to the SW is only viable after this stage

I just got a V40 T2,

wondering if anyone has tried tuning the 1.5l 122bhp T2? it looks like its easily bumped up to the T3 levels. not sure if it is hardware limited though.

Try to keep it low profile if you are really doing it.

Any tuning to the 122bhp will just send it over to Cat B category.

And we all know very well that Ah gong don't like to be short changed COE and Road Tax wise.

If you can tune the car to Cat B power without changing out Engine/Turbo, you are not breaking the law.

But when you tune up and the parts are not ready to handle the power/stress, the workshop owner will become your best friend.

Hi, I've just bought a Race Chip S from their online store.

I have a problem installing the Race Chip as the instructions manual are on a generic car and I do not know where exactly to hook up the connectors.

Any kind souls who can help and share with me where exactly to hook them up. I'm driving a S60 D2.

Thanks & Cheers.
