You can check whether the audio shops are willing to sell you without installation. Last time when the sound system forum was active, I bought 2 boxes (10 sheets per box), priced around $180 to $200 a box. Each sheet is about 4 feet by 2 feet.

Do we need to paste the whole section for inner portion ?

I think just 50-70% of it will do.. I bought alot from TB (they sell similar products but mine more ex cos their rep higher) but shipping cost is a killer. 5 sheets of 1 x 0.4 meter about 150+ SGD (aga 1 pc $30+) should be able to stick whole car..

But i think ill be using 2 sheets only, bought extra. if keen on the balance sheet let me know lor i see if I have any left after my DIY.

From which country?

From China. I read alot online and YouTube not necessary get those branded damping matt.

In other countries they use roof repair mates which offers the same result and half the price. The brand is peel and seal but I check amazon etc it still cost about 100 per roll. This I still stick to China de. Haha

does it really helps?

I tried doing wheel arch, nothing impressive. only dead weight, somemore its 2 layer..

I ever tried undercarriage painting, prevent rust and kinda sound proofing.

this did ease the noisiness..

nothing too special.

Generally my previous cars I did some sound proofing as well. But normally I'll bring it to shop. Wheel arch does improve on road noise. Expecially when there's 2 different stretch of tarmac you're driving on can hear the diff.

I think mine very general in the past cos all cars mah.. now I just started to drive a van the engine noise hor.. gaolat nv face this before with cars
