If yes, please recommend the shop and address.

Got some RM stuck in MY bank so thinking to spend it for my BTO.

Beside paying 7% SG GST any other thing need to take note?

You can try Rossini Furntiure at No. 39, Jalan Molek 1/9, Taman Molek.

When I was there, I saw at least 2 Singapore family placing their orders.

http://www.rossinifurniture.com.my

Do negotiate hard for the pricing.

After shopping and visiting a few furniture shops in JB, I still think the design and quality do not really match up with Singapore furniture shops. But the price different is really an attraction to us.

Gst and delivery fees

Also take note that the furniture there is usually designed bigger as they have bigger homes compared to our tiny apts.

Go Taman molek area to shop around. Beware of China imported furniture. Buy locally made ones are better quality

I also enquire rosinnifurniture on this:

2028.jpg

but they quote me at Rm2500 which is about SGD830 excluding GST.

and I think they are unreasonably over-priced!!!

sigh . . .

I bought bed frame and mattress, book shelves, cabinets and other small items.

Quality's been good.

No problem for the last 4 years.

I only bought from one shop because the admin charge to sg is quite high so if you go to a few shops,

the savings will be negated.

I'll like to recommend Paragon Optics for lightings if you require.

They're very honest and provide excellent service.

5 minutes drive away from Rossini.

I bought my sofa, shoe rack, dressing table from Milan Furniture Sdn Bhd.

Address is 27 & 27A, Jalan Anggerik 39, Johor Jaya, 81100 Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia

There is a delivery fee and also 7% GST. Remember to bargain hard. The more you buy, the easier it is to bargain.

Pls pm me if you need details on pricing

any idea what is the price ranges like?

example:

1019.jpg

used to have something like this from melandas 15 years back, cost me $2000

the back rest has no stitching, one whole big piece of leather

the lie down portion is a 2 piece leather stitched together

later I got to know those big piece of leather is more expensive than smaller pieces

the leather lasted me 12 years

after that started to crack and tear at the part where the sunlight hits it

I regretted not taking of it more often by applying leather conditioner

one of the problems of type of sofa is the lie down part takes a lot of space

that's why I decided to buy an electric recliner

not as beautiful as my old melandas

but functional

still have my meladas bed

really a beauty

must really take care of it, 15 years liao, no crack
