In south korea it is very common to install ventilated seat in after market workshop. As can be seen here:

, even a ferrari owner installed the ventilated seat in a workshop! I cannot find such a workshop in Singapore. Given that Singapore has very hot weather, I cannot understand why it is not easy to find a workshop that does this :(

Neither my bmw 435i nor mercedes c200 has this feature. When I asked dealers for installing the option, I was advised that ventilated seat comes with weather packages which also include features for cold weather causing unnecessary additional cost.

You can buy those ventilated seat covers that you place on top of the seat. Many months ago I saw Giant selling it at $50. Not sure if it is as good as real ventilated seats.

my car comes with heated or cooled ventilated seats for both front seats....after the initial "freshness" and fiddling it around for at most a few days... never touch the setting again.

Tried once before, literally blown my pants off.

Really shiok! Especially in our weather, it cools the seats and your body instantly with the cool air rushing through the seats. Highly recommended!

There are those buy off the shelf type where we just plug it into the 12v socket and it will work. Earlier in this thread there are some examples already but no reviews. Was hoping to get real reviews of the product.

Are there any options for inbuilt ventilation (like the fan is inside the seat itself not a cover) offered by local workshops?

If not can I import the units and have them locally installed?
