Roh96 6th Gear December 31, 2015 Share December 31, 2015 i like the bigger mirror. no indicator lights is not a major con to me. Indicator lights is not for driver to see, but to warn other road users on lane change. Every car will have side indicator (either on car body or on side mirrors). It is dangerous if you decide to change side mirror without indicator lights.

Optramagnum 6th Gear December 31, 2015 Share December 31, 2015 It's better to have the side indicators on the car body. When your side mirror need to replacement due to accidents, you dun have to worry about the wiring, etc.. Also, when the light bulb burnt, you can diy w/o removing entire side mirror.. I don't purposely go install any side indicators for my past few car....my Matrix, Tucson and Trajet all don't come with side indicators. It's only latest new model that come with. However, some owner will DIY side indicators either by adding a LED cover on the existing side mirror or just external side indicators on the side front wheel arch panel. Yes, 2010 facelifted version of Avantes do have indicators on their side mirrors and they are smaller in size compared to those without (Bigger mirror size). Certain things both Kia and Hyundai are shared but externally, don't think can share. Side mirror wise, both models window baseline are different, mounting points might be different. I think save all efforts, get used to the Forte's side mirrors. ↡ Advertisement
