Why does some of my photos uploaded from the iPhone or mac turn out to be -90 degree in the forum?

Some orientation of the photo may be different from the pc or phone after posting. Try to rotate and save it before posting here.

 

You also need to check you phone camera setting, to able photo to rotate after taken portrait or landscape.

I had verified that the orientation is right before uploading.

 you try using paint apps to open and save pic.

 

since pic orientation is correct, no need to rotate pic.

just open and save pic should resolve the issue
