When coe was at 60k plus in early 2015, A180 (the previous model) was going at around 135-136k, with 4k overtrade and 4k service credits

Based on price, seems little change even though coe is now 10k lower

If really interested, should try negotiate for higher trade in value

No keyless is a little turn off though some feel that having keys are better

Somehow women like hatchback more than sedan, so A180>A3 not surprising

Wonder if there is a biological basis for this.

May be hatchback appears more feminine and stylish

Think the Volvo v40 cross country is one of the best hatchbacks in its class

They never move the prices on those Cars....

Dunno why they can justify that price! I went down to BMW before after that COE dump the other time and they refused to budge.

I really love the shape. The reviews mentioned this car quite hard though... Any feedback?

2k service credits

traded in a nissan cefiro that was going to be expired, parf @ 13k, got overtrade till 18k and further discounts .. ended up paying around 114 for the A200.

Cannot count like that lah bro.

Your used car parf of $13k should not be computed into the value of the A Class

So shld be $133k- $5k- $1k = $127K

Your timing is good as now even A180 can't get that price I think.

Only issue I feel is the back seat abit upright but this small matter, cheers!!

never tried the B before. personally don't really like the shape of a B class and A looks much better for me personally!

actually if budget allows, top up another 10-20k to get the GLA , looks a sexy car.

Am I the only one who doesn't like that sporty headrest for the front passenger? Damn hard to see if you're seated behind.

I have the exact same thought. It's just too damn big that it creates a somewhat claustrophobic feeling in the car.

The galleries are packed to ask exactly how much din more commercial. Will go test drive the A200 available.

Many devices, power, better fuel economy, more than a little credibility, and the same road tax. Why ever wanted MFA MFA 180 if 200 is cheaper, unless death Cat A death wish?

I think buying MFA180 cars is nonsense... but there are so many of them, simply because they are Cat A and thus represent the cheapest way to flaunt the triple-point star.

I was told by my SE that the 5k service credits cannot be converted to equivalent upfront cash discount.

But i remembered some guy in this forum mentioned he actually did it.

So any advice from bros here?

Comparing A3 and A 180 handling, I think A3 and A class is on par. Power wise A3 is much better than A180, yet to try A200.

A180 has more room (head and leg) at the rear seats. A180 got bigger storage space and more compartments at the front. A180 got electric memories seats for driver and front passenger; A3 need to pay to upgrade. Both no keyless. A 180 comes with 17" rims vs A3 16" rims.

Car boot, the A3 is bigger compare to hatchback A180. A3 got nice LED headlight and DRL front and rear, A 180 only Halogen lamps. A3 leather seats vs A180 synthetic leather with fabric sports seats. A180 no rear aircon too.

Reliability, servicing cost and resale value I think Merc should be better than Audi.

That is why i bought an A for my wife after considering above.
