Why you said Altis increased by $14k? It should be $6k if I am not wrong. Edited by helloeveryone

From $96K when Cat A COE dipped $9K to $109,888 now

Oh, there were some conditions you need to meet to get $96k which the published price that time was about $102k.

For $109k now, you could get about $6k discount if you meet the same criteria.

Nowaday, car price can be very confusing....  [confused]

On website, it stated a price.

On newspaper, it stated some discounted price.

On showroom, SE can give you more discount if you agreed to certain terms and conditions.

So, what you see is NEVER what you get until you signed the dotted line. :a-m1524:

Nvr understood why they prefer to list it higher n then give buyers a substantial discount when u go down. In the first place, if I'm a potential buyer; I might be turned off by the high list price to even bother turning up at the showroom so how to even lure me there to enjoy the substantial discount which can amount to $10k for some models.

Well the best selling Conti AD does it. And look at how big they are. And look how rich their clients are. My theory is ppl like us wants a lower list price then we go bargain. That is our preferred experience. For the rich and who can afford. Their thinking maybe .."I am ok with list price that's why I go and I get good service and discounts leh. Great experience!".

We normal folks ask and beg for discounts. While the richer folks are offered a discount.
