Thecarboy302 3rd Gear April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 This should be just a Taiwan exclusive variant of existing Altis. We should be expecting a facelifted Altis to debut in early 2017.
ER-3682 Twincharged April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 If Toyota put the new Turbocharged engine into it[Like Honda Civic]..will be nice.
Thecarboy302 3rd Gear April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 If Toyota put the new Turbocharged engine into it[Like Honda Civic]..will be nice. Don't recall a high power turbo like 1.5T of Civic in Toyota's lineup but they do have a 1.2T in the current Japanese and UK Auris with similar output to the 1.2T Nissan Qashqai, could possibly feature in the updated Altis. What is more likely to happen is the updated Altis will stick to current 1.6 or maybe get the more advanced DI 1.6 from the Auris that was previously sold here by BM. Drion 2nd Gear April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 1 more month before stepping into BM proper one get altis. After looking at the specs of civic, I guess Altis should be a better choice. The civic 1.6na is really a very basic car for that price range.

AltisOwner Turbocharged July 1, 2016 Share July 1, 2016 I wonder why this time round BM didn't bring in Altis 1.8L into SG. My previous Altis was a 1.8L that lasted me for 10 years without any major problem (for the 1st time I drove a car for a complete 10 years). In Malaysia and Thailand, they only have 18L and 2.0L Altis. ↡ Advertisement
