Passion fruit plant

Bingo! The earlier photo was taken about 1 month ago. It has since grown much taller, and about to clinch onto some support.

My the other plant (>6mths old) has spread across part of my balcony railing, and the leaves have changed in shape, and probably going to flower in the next few months... [;)]

I bought a bunch of $1.50 holy basil from Thai Supermart.

Then I try to put them in water in root. But all of them died. Thai sweet basil was much easier to root.

Then I tried again and bought the 2nd bunch of holy basil.

This is the only one that rooted and survive, so I planted in soil.

Holy basil is distinguished by the jagged leaves at the edge.

So the next time you ate a holy basil chicken rice, and the leaves does not have jagged edge, it's most likely sweet basil.

This one already has some small buds, they tend to flower.

They grow easily, but need a lot of sunlight and water.

And smells good when you use it for cooking.
