I got mine from amazon

I bought it since Dec 2014. The suction didn't turn brown under the scorching sun like something I used earlier.

Spring action at the bottom portion.

And I was sold by this description...

"Large sized 80mm diameter suction performs well in hot climate". The larger dan regular size suction performs very well especially your device is heavy. Quality is good for its price.

It comes with an extra set of claws. The one in the pic is a mix of both short and long claws.

It fits my iphone6 and 7" tablet. It's the best one I have used so far.

I have tried a few hand phone mounts and this is by far the best:

http://www.spigen.com/products/magnetic-air-vent-mount

Very well-built and good quality. simple and sleek. Not obtrusive and bulky. Phone is very stable and attaches firmly to the base with no irritating vibrations. The thin metal plate can be sandwiched between the phone and case without using doublesided tape

Only downside is the air con vent will be partially blocked and the phone maybe hard to reach if your air con vent is at obscure location.

Got this mount for S$40. Fits 6" phone like my Huawei mate 8. One handed operation

Bro.  Can you share a picture of how you run the USB charging cable?

My charging cable is very messy leh..it runs from the centre cigarette lighter -> across my steering wheel -> to the right side of windscreen.

I  am considering fixing an additional cigarette lighter under my right side of windscreen but am not sure where to do it.

I prefer those that you clip onto the aircon vents. More secure and better location (not so high up, less obstruction).

I got one from Autobacs. They have a few available.

I'm using a magnetic suction holder.. Easy mounting and taking out your hp.. But need to paste a metal plate inside your hp casing.. And because of the weight, need to adjust the height until the Hp is resting on the dashboard when it's mounted.

I have tried quite a few phone holders over the years. Nothing beats the Kenu Airframe for smartphones. Got it from Apple Online Store...

Only drawback is that u will lose the use of 1 aircon vent and not suitable for 'rounded' vents.

using this on my car now.

Need not to worry about suction cup dropping off from the windscreen or leaving a mark when removed:

Without using special tools and opening up any panels, there are some ways of hiding cables behind car panels, rubber seals etc.

Usually can squeeze the cables in without problem.

See below video for some tips.

You might also need to buy a USB extension cord as normal cables may not be long enough for the longer route taken.

Any issues with the suction failing and assembly dropping? Thinking of getting the same for my note5
