IS200 is a better looking car, esp if properly done up it look elegance with that classic Japanese street racer styling.

Pull factor for Jap cars is the reliability & lower maintenance cost.

Switched earlier this year. Only gripe is the lack of nice solid 'thud' sound when closing door. Dunno about high end ones, but my Nissan's doors doesn't feel as solid.

My teana door feel very heavy lei at least more heavy than my old camry and need more force to open full wide.

sometimes, the hinge is tighter making you feel as if the door's heavy. [laugh]

The only reason i will consider IS200 is because it is the last IL6 from Toyota.

Toyota Altezza RS200 even better.

I thought all all Toyota now dual VVT-i?

Toyota Vios is still VVT-i.

Corolla only got dual VVT-i from 2010

Altezza RS200 launched in 1998.  Not a lot of ppl knows about this car outside of Japan.  This 4 pot produce 210 with MT or 200 with AT.

You are right.

Current Vios is using the same 1NZ-FE 1.5l engine as the year 2000 Corolla.
