The details of the September 2016 second open bidding exercise for Certificates of Entitlement (COEs) are as follows:

 

Tender opens: Monday, 19 September 2016, 12 noon

Tender closes: Wednesday, 21 September 2016, 4.00 pm

Tender results: Wednesday, 21 September 2016 (Available on the www.onemotoring.com.sg website)

 

The total quota available for this tender is 4,355 for the following vehicle categories:

 

NON-TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:

Category A: Cars (up to 1600cc & 97kW (130bhp)) => 2,008

Category B: Cars (above 1600cc or 97kW (130bhp)) => 1,338

Category D: Motorcycles => 403

 

TRANSFERABLE CATEGORIES:

Category C: Goods Vehicles and Buses => 177

Category E: Open Category => 429

Sometimes when I think it should drop, it increases.

 

Saw some news which mention pte hirer might slow down bidding for coe, this is one of the biggest factor for the increase of coe premium.

 

But still I think all cat should be ard $2k +-

With Uber and Grab still aggressive buying new cars for rental,this round of COE bidding should see COE prices maintaining at the same level as the last round.

Think the colors for the September 1st bidding COE results should be switched around. I.e., those in red should be green and vice versa.

Talking about pte hire, saw a Jaguar picking up ppl. Later learnt from the security it was Uber. Quite surprised.

Nowadays Jaguar not like last time very expensive .... Like Volvo too also mid range con car ....

Agreed ... Ah pig ah dog also can drive Jaguar as 10% down 10 years loan . LTA and MAS better do something before more this type of people go bankrupt .
