Tailored Neutral Newbie August 18, 2018 Share August 18, 2018 Hi, Anyone has experience doing own import for Merc from UK or other countries? Please PM me if anyone can share his experience and which exporter did he buy from. Would like to see if it worth the efforts compared to the cost saved. Cheers
Wheelslover 2nd Gear August 18, 2018 Share August 18, 2018 Hi, Anyone has experience doing own import for Merc from UK or other countries? Please PM me if anyone can share his experience and which exporter did he buy from. Would like to see if it worth the efforts compared to the cost saved. Cheers I did enquired with autoexport.co.uk , they claimed to have done so for Singapore PI. they can do everything until it landed on our shore. then we need to take over from there. I saw one-motoring website have guidelines from getting the storage while you get this paper clearance and COE, quite troublesome, but if the saving is 40-50K, may be can try. Anyone can share more will be beneficial

Volvobrick Supersonic August 19, 2018 Share August 19, 2018 Should start a separate thread on self importing cars. Pounds and AUD going down, so there should be good savings in the next year or two.

therock Supersonic August 21, 2018 Author Share August 21, 2018 Sidetrack a little. Generally is Mercedes more reliable compared with a BMW or Audi?Bro there’s a whole thread debating this.. you can go and have a look..Essentially just look around and see how many COE Mercedes cars are there running around, then compare it to the other makes... that will give you some idea. Cheers ↡ Advertisement
