I was there in the morning. Not much crowd. Best booth in my opinion is by Esso.

Why is Esso's booth best? Just curious ... not been there.

Some ppls are just too stingy or couldn't afford to pay extra 1 or 2k. They will probably tell you that they do not want the dealer or gov to earn from the extra cash. Others may have time to wait as their current drive has quite sometime before scrap.

Huh? Garmen will not earn that extra $2k ... whether the dealer under-bid, or over-bid your COE.

It's just whether you'll get your COE, or not!

New model 2.0L camry is going at 135,900, 2.5L existing model going at 139,900 in showroom. Both are NG and must register car before year end. That means chances of getting COE is high because they are pushing for their year end sales quota

Looks like ADs are aggressively getting car booking during the car show?! No wonder everyone predict coe will go up. Lol.

Well a bro posted that VW was offering 99k for a Golf with guaranteed COE?

That's pretty good and some will bite..

If any AD able to price the car price right with guaranteed coe, i believe many people would book. This is a very good way to get more sales.

No good offers..should have book before last Coe result. A lot ppl too..

I thought bros were posting some good deals..

The main issue is whether there are enough COEs to fulfil the orders..

Other than VW, what else? Didn't really go check out conti since I can't afford anyways. Jap/Korean made profit margin perhaps already very Low? Hence didn't see any good deals.

I guess bro it depends on what you are after. If you have a specific budget and it tends towards the cars like Hyundai or the like, they are selling pretty well so they may not offer a bigger discount.

Some others which need to fulfil numbers, like Ford, VW perhaps, need to sell to keep their dealerships?

These might be more willing to listen and offer you deals. So if you have a budget to meet, but no specific car to go for, your flexibility will pay off  [thumbsup]

The upcoming Coe bidding will be interesting.

1. 3 week bidding period

2. After car show

3. 1st bidding after new quota cut

Usually when most ppl think it will raise, the price drop.

The 1k+- discount doesnt = to the car selling price. So maybe should just bite the bullet and end this mental torture
