flikmy 1st Gear January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 Well, even with Bernie gone, it doesn't mean that there will be change in how the racing will be. Hopefully the changes will be for the better. Seems like the cars will go faster than previous few years: http://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/10529238/f1-in-2017-what-can-we-expect-from-next-years-rule-changes

Yewheng Twincharged March 14, 2017 Share March 14, 2017 (edited) Ferrari seems very fast in testing. Kimi clocked the fastest lap time in supersoft instead of ultrasoft tyres. So definitely the timing will be a lot lower come to Barcelona circuit for race day. Edited March 14, 2017 by Yewheng
Ichibawa 5th Gear March 15, 2017 Share March 15, 2017 If test timing are true (which usually are not) then we will always see Ferrari 1-2. McLaren seriously need to up their performance. Could this be another year of back marker again?

Blueray Hypersonic March 24, 2017 Share March 24, 2017 FIA drops 'Max Verstappen rule' covering Formula 1 braking zones The FIA has dropped the 'Max Verstappen rule' governing Formula 1 driver conduct in braking zones as part of its bid to allow greater freedom on-track in 2017. Late last season the FIA clarified the rules regarding drivers battling wheel-to-wheel, in response to complaints about the way Verstappen in particular moved under braking to defend his position on occasions. Those changes resulted in Sebastian Vettel being penalised for the way he defended against Daniel Ricciardo in the Mexican Grand Prix, but over the winter the FIA made clear it wanted to give drivers more freedom to race each other. ..... http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/128600/fia-drops-verstappen-rule-for-braking-zones
